
PIETRO ANTONIO PIZZATTO
Voice, Beginner Piano
Mr. Pizzatto, a tenor born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil, has almost a decade of experience in singing voice. Coming from a very artistic background, he started his professional development in college, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance. Already in the United States, he earned his Master’s degree in Voice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During his time in the United States, Mr. Pizzatto performed in many opera roles and choir presentations, as well as participated in important competitions like the NATS Competition (National Association of Teachers of Singing), in which he placed 2nd in the Advanced category for classical singers in the New England region. Currently based in Denton, Mr. Pizzatto is pursuing his Ph.D. in Musicology at the University of North Texas.
As a teacher, Mr. Pizzatto finds it essential to respect students’ individuality. He believes that each student has a set of valuable skills derived from experiences in different backgrounds, creating many artistic possibilities worth exploring. His lessons are dynamic and fun, creating a light and safe environment for students to grow at their own pace. Mr. Pizzatto has experience in teaching voice and music theory at any level and age, as well as basic piano skills.
