TRAVIS HERNANDEZ

Violin, Ukulele, Guitar

Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas, with a violin and classical guitar concentration. He has taught and assisted for UNT’s String Project for three years and also taught private lessons in Lewisville ISD. In addition, Travis has been a violin clinician and audition judge for Fort Worth ISD, Garland ISD, Dallas ISD, and Denton ISD. While attending UNT, he was a founding member of Mariachi Quetzal. The band has performed for the Toadies, The Flaming Lips, and Del Castillo. This also includes collaboration with Norah Jones, Brave Combo. Bubble Hernandez, and most notably the Dallas Wind Symphony.
